Using Clinical Trials Results to Determine the Management of PCOS

Heather Gibson Huddleston, MD, reviews data from several trials related to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Dr. Huddleston discusses impaired glucose intolerance and diabetes and the importance of doing a glucose-tolerance test. She considers the correlation between metabolic syndrome and elevated BMI and takes a look at the diabetes-prevention trial and depression in patients with PCOS.
