Alexander Berger, MD, MPH, FACOG
Dr. Berger’s research focuses on improving the health of women with pelvic floor disorders. As a clinician scientist with a masters in public health and focus on clinical research and prevention, he has the unique perspective of understanding the clinical and public health implications of basic science, public health, and clinical research. His research interests include value-based care and surgical quality/safety enhancement in FPMRS, enhanced recovery after surgery, and patient experience improvement. He has collaborated and advanced the scientific literature on surgical outcomes and patient care after urogynecologic surgery with publications in Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, International Urogynecology Journal, and the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Journal. His research has been featured in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Podcast, and he has presented his research findings internationally and domestically.
